Menu.css corrupting my other theme.css

I am trying to install a menu into my web page, but as soon as I add the attached menu .css file, it corrupts all the text in my site to Bold. I have gone through this file with a fine tooth comb and changed everything that looks even remotely like font or font-weight, and nothing helps. I have deleted everything from my site, rebuilt everything, same problem. At present I have deleted it all again.
