Advice on studying and preparing for interviews

    Hi everyone,

I'm a .Net developer planning my next career move, and I've found that I get invited to interviews but that my technical knowledge isn't deep enough to get second interviews. So I'm planning to take some unpaid leave in January to study, and I'd be really grateful for advice on what to prioritise. I've been thinking of two areas: OO prinicples, and a Microsoft exam, possibly 70-536 (Microsoft .NET Framework: Application Development Foundation (VB) for MCTS status.

Any useful advice received with open arms ...

    Thank you :-)
