Input as a Super Key like Ctrl+B like.....

    I want to develop a code for which i want that the input has to be some text.... suppose i like some data and i jst select and press ctrl + B it should be bookmarked in a file and after word i can view that data.....the data can be anywhere ....like browser , doc, pdf etc....i jst confused how to get input to my code with Ctrl + C .... Thnx in advance
