Windows NT Problem.

  Hi all;
  i used an function for output a value at  port 0x378 (or any value you want)
  in C++ by using the function (inp) from "conio.h"...
  the problem is that i used my program at windows 98  and it work but in windows NT or  windows 2000 server it not work and the program give me an massage error "the exception privileged in the instruction", Can any body gie me a solution please???????????
