    Ok, here we go:


    Oracle is a database system running on UNIX servers. It's VERY powerful, has a lot of functions, is fully compatible with any programming language and/or database client (actually, it's the other way around: the languages are compatible with Oracle


    You can get it at Oracle Corporation


    The pricing (as far as I know) is like you get a VERY nice BMW for the same money... Make sure you free up some partition to install it Just kidding - Get yourself a professional database server from for instance Compaq  - and you'll need two spaces in your parking lot... Unless you want to exchange the two for a Ferrari...
