Cleveland Linux User Group

To network GNU/Linux users. Ubuntu? Fedora? openSUSE? You name it, we'll probably be discussing it. If you're a Linux user, server admin (or anything else that involves) Linux you are welcome!

Events coming up

We don't have any upcoming events for this user group. Do you know this group? If so, why not submit a future event? We also support iCal, EventBrite and Meetup feeds.

Past events

  • Beginning Git

20-21 Sep 2011 in Shaker Heights, United States

James Gifford will be presenting on beginning git - the version control system that was created by Linus Torvalds for the Linux Kernel, and has since become the hipsters SVN. For the basic overview of Git, you can take a look here

  • Spacewalk setup and use

6-7 Sep 2011 in Shaker Heights, United States

Toward the end of our last meeting, there was interest in the update-management package, "Spacewalk." My research suggests that it is not terribly complicated to set up, but that there are a few unusual dependencies, such as a requirement for an Oracle database. I propose Spacewalk as a meeting topic. Can someone who uses Spacewalk make a presentation?
