The Houston Novice Developers Meetup Group

I have been programming for over 12 years now and I enjoy it more and more everyday. I have been fortunate to have some very good mentors thus far in my career and I hope that I can help novice programmers learn the basic skills necessary to become software engineers. I want to have regular meetups where I can teach the fundamentals of programming to those that are interested. If you are a high-school student who just took your first computer science class, a college student who needs a little more help with data structures, or a hobbyist who wants to know more about writing good code, then join up. This meetup is open to all novice and intermediate level developers who want to master the basics in an effort to build a solid foundation.
