A group for Windows Phone developers in San Francisco. Our meetups will be a combination of tutorials and presentations on apps our members have made. Download the free tools here: http://create.msdn.com. You don't even need a phone to get started, as the emulator is very good.

For the next few months, we'll have a weekly study session introducing Windows Phone development.  We'll discuss applications from the book 101 Windows Phone 7 Apps by Adam Nathan.  You don't need the book to attend, but it's worth getting.  You can buy it instantly using the free Nook app on your PC, even without a dedicated ebook reader. For our first meetup, we'll discuss the Tally app from Chapter 1.  It's an excellent introduction to the basics of Windows Phone development.
