Past events

  • The Austin .NET November Meetup

    Sat, 21 Nov 2009, 01:00 - 03:00 in Austin, United States

We are meeting at John and Andy's office again, but there is no beer and pizza this time. We do, however, encourage everyone to bring a sandwich or whatever. We will once again have a few "show-and-tell" presentations that we will try to limit to about 15 minutes each. People can then get together and discuss issues/questions raised during the presentation portion. I would also like to push the idea that anyone who has questions of their own should come to the meetup and ask for some help.

  • The Austin .NET October Meetup

    Sat, 17 Oct 2009, 00:00 - 02:00 in Austin, United States

Co-organizer John Nagle and his business partner Andy have graciously offered the use of their office facility for the next meetup and they sweetened the deal with beer (and sodas) and pizza. Their facility contains neat things like lasers and robots (seriously, it's what they work with), but, alas, no lasers mounted on sharks nor pits of molten steel in which to melt errant robots from the future.

I think this will be a soul-searching meetup... one in which we try to figure out the direction this group will take. -Chris Judge
