    Our 8th monthly meeting at ThoughtWorks. Meeting Topic: Son of DSLs and Dishing of the Dirt from the Scala Lift Off East David Orme will talk about some DSL's he's implemented. It should be a nice follow up to the intro to DSLs I did a few months ago. Also, he attended the Scala Lift Off East in Reston, VA, so he'll dish the dirt.

    Our 8th monthly meeting at ThoughtWorks. Meeting Topic: Lightnin' Talks We have two talks for the meeting. Bill Pollack is going to talk about two small projects he's done in Scala. One is a Sudoku solver using actors and the other is a tool he wrote at work to process XML files. Then, new member Josh Cough will tell us about using sbt (Simple Build Tool) and ScalaTest for projects. (Corrected: I mistyped "Scala Build Tool" previously.
