We use the meeting time to learn about and practice agile software development methods using java technologies.This group is different from some other software development user groups in that the members have the time apart from other obligations to come up to speed on new technology and develop their project execution skills.

    After a long period of dormancy, I'm looking again at whether or not it would be good to bringthis group back alive.At this point, I want to begin by having a broad discussion on some or all of these topics -* What's the central purpose of this group?* Discuss how to best balance the time needed to gain new proficiencies againstusing existing abilities to meet the clients needs on an on-going basis.
