  • Barcamp Gold Coast
  • Stixcamp Queensland

And any other camps or unconferences want to organise in Queensland. Please contact the organiser if you want to become an assistant and organise something.

BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants who are the main actors of the event.

    Craig Aspinall is going to run a language tutorial in parallel to Barcamp. It's a chance to get a quick look at 7 different languages. The idea is not to learn the languages in great detail, but to understand the core programming concepts they demonstrate.It is based on the book 7 Languages in 7 Days by Bruce Tate.The languages are: *Ruby *Io *Prolog *C *Haskell *Scala *Clojure
