An opportunity to meet others with an interest in science and technology in an informal setting. Whatever your field of interest, come gather to discuss recent developments in science and technology and how these developments help to explain and change the world around us.

This meetup is open to everyone, from experts who want to share ideas and educate the public on the importance and benefits of scientific research and technological advancement to the novice who has limited knowledge but a desire to learn and great enthusiasm for supporting and expanding the works of science and technology.

  • COSI's "Defining Science & Religion"

14-15 Oct 2009 in Columbus, United States

Hello ALL: I have not heard from anyone, so I will continue my story. COSI is having a public meeting on 14 October 2009. We can congregate there as our fall warm-up. The topic is but a bit of soft science, but I think we can all relate, and we might even contribute something useful to the proceedings... I'm thinking that we should bring something unique to identify ourselves, so I have ulloaded an image of a while carnation that we all can print out and use as a "hello" badge, about 3" square.
