This group is here for Internet professionals in NYC who work on the web product. We are here to share ideas, teach each other, give advice, and have a good time.

The group is open to anyone who works on producing, designing, building, testing, launching a web site. This is not meant to be a group for anyone and everyone who happens to work at an Internet company. If you are an engineer, a designer, a product manager, a sys admin you are welcome; if you are not, I am sure there is a group on Meetup for you.

The format of this group will likely evolve, but initially, the Meetups will consist roughly of half presentations, and half networking/discussion. All members of the group should be ready and willing to present something as well as participate in discussions. If you are not comfortable with this, you probably should not join. This is not a group for lurkers who are not going to participate.

You will need to apply to join. Please fill out the full profile, including all questions. I can't approve anyone who does not do so.
