Part of the global TechAviv family (http://www.techaviv.com), TechAviv CA is an invite-only group of bay area Israeli hi-tech entrepreneurs and investors that gather monthly to showcase, discuss and help fellow Israeli startups. You can apply for membership here or request an invite from an existing member. Each month three companies get 5 minutes to demo their new products, followed by Q&A with the group. Casual networking happens before and after the demos. Our mission is to bring the local Israeli hi-tech community closer together and to help Israeli entrepreneurs succeed worldwide by sharing our collective experience and contacts. Together we're creating a global support system for young Israeli startups.

We're welcoming March with demos by two interesting local Israeli startups and a guest talk about what to think about when getting acquired. We will be hearing from CrowdFanatic, a unique online confrontation platform and True Equity, an extremely useful tool for creating and calculating your cap table. We will also hear from Eran Shir, Founder of Dapper that was acquired by Yahoo for $55M in October about the tactics, pitfalls and challenges of going through the acquisition process.
