Vancouver Javascript Developers

The Vancouver Javascript Developers group is a brand new meetup for web developers downtown. The focus is on Javascript, HTML5, and the open web. Javascript frameworks, browser functionality, tips and tricks are all fair game. The meeting format is two 45 minute talks, followed by pub time for discussion.

    It’s time once again for Labs Night, our monthly meetup to discuss Labs projects, your projects, and the Open Web. Our June session will be next Thursday, 6/25, 6-9pm at the new Mozilla HQ – 650 Castro Street, Suite 300 in downtown Mtn. View. We are excited to welcome Joseph Smarr, CTO at Plaxo. Joseph is currently leading Plaxo’s “Open Social Web” initiative to put users back in control of who they know when using socially-enabled sites by using open data-sharing standards.
