  Tim Caswell will be presenting on Node.js: is a non-blocking I/O server written in JavaScript similar to Python's Twisted framework or Ruby's EventMachine. It is a single-threaded JavaScript server running on V8 capable of handling over 50,000 requests/sec thanks to its non-blocking (think asynchronous) I/O.Come see a demo and code to implement a node.js comet server for real-time web applications. What many believe will be the future of JavaScript.
