The New York Web Standards Meetup Group

Welcome to the New York Web Standards Meetup!

You can now follow us on on Twitter: http://twitter.com/nywebstandards.

The New York Web Standards Meetup gets together once a month to discuss standards-based web development. We take a broad approach to standards, including not just Web Standards (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webstandards), but also Web Accessibility (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webaccessibility), best practices for client-side and server-side development and web performance.

We'd love to hear you present on the topic of your choice! Please review our presentation FAQ (http://www.meetup.com/standardista/pages/Presentation_FAQ/) to get started.

Note: If you are a recruiter, we encourage you to attend our meetings and make announcements about available jobs in the industry. Please do not use our mailing list to post job listings.
