The Central Ohio Python Users Group

This group is for those who use the Python computer language or who want to learn more about the language.Python is a great language for rapid development and has some great web frameworks that make getting a functional web application up and running quite easily.We are just getting started, so come join us learn more about Python together, have fun, and build some cool apps!

    As Memorial Day is the last Monday in May, we will be meeting a week early on Monday, May 21.Unfortunately, TechColumbus is booked up that evening, so I was thinking we could meet at a nice bar and grille to eat, drink, socialize, and talk Python.A few suggestions of places that would be big enough to handle a few rowdy Pythonistas: Brazenhead on 5th (central), Winking Lizard at Crosswords (north), or Rusty Bucket in Dublin (northwest)

    Productive Python Programming among friends.This dojoe is all about actively programming Python, learning together, and sharing.If I decide to enter the PyWeek contest which will be going on the week of the dojoe, I'll be working on my entry, and could give a quick intro to getting started with Pygame.

    Come and hack code with other Pythonistas. We will work on whatever projects interest the attendees. An introduction to Python can be provided on a one-to-one basis if needed.  The meeting room is confirmed Monday evenings for the rest of the year except for the Central Ohio Python UG meeting nights and 12/26 (when the library is closed).  We have the room from 6 - 9pm (when the library closes). If you can't make it at 6, feel free to show up when you can.

We've got automatic conversion tools to convert C# to VB.NET, VB.NET to C#. Also you can compress javascript and compress css and generate sql connection strings.
