IT Training for Busy Professionals (PMP, Java, etc)

The purpose of this Meetup is to provide a quick and effective way for IT professionals to stay current with latest IT technologies and training.

Anyone in the IT field knows that there are too many technologies and not enough time...TO LEARN THEM!" Worse yet, with so many technologies here today and gone tomorrow even the sharpest IT professionals must be judicious about where, and what they invest time to. As a result, Al Smith, Jr. and Vanina Mangano initially formed this Meetup as a way to provide a quick and effective way for professionals to stay current with the latest IT technologies by holding online "brown bag" trainings. But now, upon opening their own IT training facility, SME Technical Training, ILT Meetups are also held in San Diego, CA.

Al and Vanina are experienced IT trainers and published technical authors. For over 15 years they've assisted companies like Dell, Raytheon, Lockheed and organizations such as the Office of Naval Research and NASA to keep their employees in the technology loop by providing IT training. However, if your company doesn't offer training or authorize courses that enhances your career goal, paying for training on your own is expensive.

As a solution to these problems this Meetup aims to provide you with access to quality IT training, at reasonable prices. As a member you request the technologies you'd like to be trained on and we'll take care of getting the relevant material and hosting the classes.
