Jersey Shore Web Developers

Jersey Shore Web Developers' goal is to build a community of programmers and a "tech" culture at the Jersey shore via a sharing of ideas and a collaboration of resources.

Being that we are not in the heart of Silicon Valley or located in Manhattan our goal is to bring together programmers of all backgrounds, level, and environments, from PHP/LAMP newbies, to Ruby/Rails Enthusiasts, to Front End Javascript/UI individuals, to iPhone SDK hackers.

Goals of Jersey Shore Web Developers * Assist in building a culture of technology at the Jersey Shore * Provide reoccurring meetups for members to share ideas, build a network of resources, and showcase projects and ideas * Host seminars & workshops on topics of interest * Be host to code retreat weekends * Provide an environment for programmers and enthusiasts to learn, grow, and build on their skills

I will be traveling for a good deal of next month in central america but we've been getting some great momentum with the group and I'd like to keep things rolling. Our first meetup last summer was a "drink up" at the Brickwall, in downtown Asbury Park and it provided a great platform for everyone to get interact and network with each other aside from the standard presenter/listener relationship and I think it would be great to do that again.So.
