Over the last few years social technologies have become increasingly prevalent in the lives of average computer users. In fact, millions of Americans login daily to leading social networks to share their lives with others and keep tabs on their friends and family. Leading experts say that static Web sites will be a thing of the past within the next three to five years. At our Social Media sessions, you'll learn how online social platforms and tools - blogs, social networks, video sites and others - can help your business in 2010. Now is the time to learn how to use this technology to exponentially grow your business.
Please join us for an insightful presentation on Case Studies in Social Media, the sixth and final session in our series on Social Media for small businesses. As part of the KICKSTART 2010 Business Development Series this panel will take place on February 16th at the Sandbox Communities site in Gahanna. At this session you'll hear inspiring stories of what REALLY works with Social Media from LOCAL Social Media advocates who have turned technological stumbling blocks into stepping stones to marketing success. At this session you'll hear case studies from:
Anna Harper Hess: Anna is the Social Media Superstar for Crimson Cup Coffee and Tea, a specialty coffee roaster/retailer and teacher of coffee shop business success. The founder of Crimson Cup's social media program, Anna has continued to expand the company's online presence through applications such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Crimson Cup's blog. You can follow Anna on twitter @aharperhess
Christina Christian: Christina L. Christian is a PR practitioner turned social media strategist with a vision of social good in social media. Her past work in pairing traditional and digital communications led her to Mid-Ohio Foodbank where she helps the organization build its presence and discover new opportunities in the digital space. Through social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Flickr, Christian has helped the Foodbank increase its visibility among potential donors, volunteers and supporters as well as bring attention to the issue of domestic hunger.
