The event will be at the Spitfire Restaurant in Seattle on Tuesday 1/26 from 6p-8p.
As I mentioned before, this will be a networking and educational event -two companies will be there to give us short presentations on how they're utilizing Ruby and Rails in their respective technologies.
I'm excited to say that the first company that has signed on to be there with us is Whitepages.com. CTO Joe Heitzeberg will there to speak with us. Oh, and Whitepages is even picking up the tab for the first 50 beers because they're just that nice!
The second company will be Estately. Estately makes it easier for consumers to find the right home. Co-Founder of Estately, Doug Cole, will be there to speak with us.
Needless to say, this should be a fun educational event, and we're fortunate to have Whitepages on board, so be sure to RSVP as soon as you can!
Special BIG thanks to Emily Schrock for setting this event up!
