Wow - That was a great break!

I have spent the last couple of months learning a lot of great lessons. I think I am closer to knowing what it means to be a techtrepreneur in the Mid-West. And, it is vastly different than what I thought it was when I started this process (almost 2 years ago).

In preparation for our meeting - I encourage each of you to go and listen to:

http://ecorner.stanfo... (You can download it from itunes as well).

I know you guys all have your own "plan" and you should follow it. But, some of the concepts in the above Pod-cast are universal and extremely applicable for us here in the Mid-West.

How can you grow a multi-million dollar company with only 15 employees? When do you hire? Who do you hire? Should you goal to be to not hiring anyone? Playing to our strengths is the only option. If you are waiting for someone to come and "bless" your company with funding - then you are already in trouble.

Some controversial ideas to be discuss and considered. Therefore the title of this meeting is:

"What happens when you realize you are not living in Silicone Valley"

This weeks format will be that of a round table. Don't come if you don't want to be involved in the conversation. All the talking points will come from the above pod-cast. So, if you don't listen - you are welcome to come - but you will be at a disadvantage. This is the year we get real & and get real successful!

Here's to an amazing 2010!
