Unattended Extra Binaries characters in my file??!

I am writting binary data in a file using:

    put #inum,, strString

and unfortunately when I read file with my hex editor, I find some extra binary data at the end.
Each time I use this command some extra binary data are appended at the end. And if I do not use parameter but value (put #inum,, "dummy" ) there is not extra data.
