Our series on browsers continues - Opera, Firefox, now IE!

We're really pleased to have Andrew Dodson from the IE9 team at Microsoft UK speaking on the latest release of IE9 - released just 3 days ago.

Andrew works on the Microsoft dev team in London, where he is the front line for fixes and implementing the latest HTML across all browsers, with special attention paid to making sure IE9 shines. He'll have a lot to cover, and will be able to take your IE questions from the floor.

Andrew will cover:

  • How to debug with IE9 Developer Tools
  • CPU Monitoring and Code Watching tools
  • Performance monitoring using IE9
  • HTML5 features like Geo-location, and work-arounds when it's not available
  • How to use pinned mode to launch web applications from the desktop
  • The future of web apps, and the death of the old
  • More on IE9 here

Also, Nathan will be back fresh off the plane from SXSW Interactive, the largest web development conference in the world, held over 5 days in big old Texas, US of A!

Come join us for a social event, speaking is short, socialising is key!
