LinuxFest NorthWest 2009

Date
25-26 Apr 2009 (Add to calendar) GMT
Venue
Bellingham Technical College , Bellingham, US

LinuxFest Northwest is a Linux and open source extravaganza held the last weekend in April at Bellingham Technical College (BTC) in Bellingham, Washington. The exhibits and presentations are free of charge and open to anyone.

LFNW is produced by volunteers from the Bellingham Linux Users Group (blug). It is low key, loaded with current hot tech topics, and attracts techies from the Pacific Northwest and Lower BC. There is a distinct lack of marketing hype, but abundant enthusiasm from presenters, exhibitors and attendees.

The wide range of presentations and exhibits appeals to more than just technical folks. With robot contests, business applications, open source for home use and more, the Fest offers something for everyone. On Saturday, the best food in town is the meal prepared by the BTC Culinary Department.
