With the weather we have been experiencing recently, it seems only appropriate that we hold our annual Summer Lightning Talks this month at PHPNW. For those who are unaware of lightning talks, they are short, fast paced talks (20 slides, 20 seconds per slide) lasting for not much more than 5 minutes each. This is open for anyone to have a go, and if you would like to, then there is no need to pre-register, just turn up on the day with your talk prepared. The topic can be anything of interest to you (doesn't even necessarily have to be about PHP) and this is a great way to get speaking experience without having to fill a full slot! So come along and give it a go!
PHPNW (PHP North West) is a group focussing on the PHP web development language in the North-of-England.
