The Orlando PHP July Meetup

Date
2-3 Jul 2009 (Add to calendar) GMT
Venue
Stardust Video and Coffee , Orlando, US
Cost
Free

Sorry I'm so late with this, everyone. This month's meeting will be again at Stardust. We don't have a specific speaker lined up, so I guess we'll just "wing it". I've got some presentations in stock that I can give, and you should all bring your PHP questions for the Expert Panel.

Thanks to everyone who showed up last month and endured my introduction to Unit Testing in PHP. If we have enough takers, I'll continue along those lines and demonstrate the utility behind the PHPUnit framework. And if not, I'm sure we'll still have a good time!

Seeya all there!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the October meeting, thanks to Zend for presenting, and thanks to Derek Gallo for filling in for me again while I was out of town at php CodeWorks in Atlanta. If you've never been to a professional conference before, particularly one for PHP, then I highly recommend it: php CodeWorks was a blast and very affordable. Well, that doesn't do you much good, though, does it?

Hi! The last meet-up was great! Let's have another one and keep the momentum going! Topic: Managing Jobs and Productivity! Description: How do you get into 'the zone' and stay there? How do you handle scheduling, client management, distractions, last minute requests, etc. This isn't a code-focussed meeting per say, although I'm sure we'll bust out some source eventually. Extras: [list]*Last week Jayse shared his on-the-fly thumbnail generator.
