The July meetup will focus on yesterday's (June 30) release of PHP 5.3. We'll be covering what's new, what's changed, what's fixed, and what you should know about using PHP 5.3.
The 5.3 release is a major improvement in the 5.x series, and is a big step in PHP's evolution, which includes a large number of new features and bug fixes. We'll have slides and a presentation (done by me) covering the big items included in this release.
Q/A, general discussion, future topic ideas, and random chit chat will follow. We'll have pizza and drinks, so come hungry!
When: July 8, 2009 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: OmniTI (Our usual place) 7070 Samuel Morse Drive Columbia MD, 21046
Please RSVP, so we know how much pizza to order. Meeting space and pizza are being provided by OmniTI as usual. Many, many thanks to them and their continued support.
Hope to see everyone there, and if you know of anyone else interested, bring them along also!
