Agent or IAgentCtl from DLL events

I would like to trap (or responde to) Agent or IAgentCtl events, but I created or used the Agent from a DLL, and added the agent as an object in a object's property, can this be done

the commands method seems not to work, I included the syntax CreateObject("xxxx","event_mgr") as seen in some examples on the net, but there was an error "server not found".

Most of the MSAgent examples don't go as far as using the agent, this is easy, but I want a complete control.
