Hi, Does anyone have experience on how to use the intel compiler to compile C++ source file on linux/freebsd platform? Will it compile on FreeBSD platform too?

From what i find out, by compiling our code using the intel compiler for linux with optimization options (-O3) on will make our program run faster than by using GNU compiler such as g++.  Is it true if the server is equipped with an Intel or AMD processor?

    Thanks a lot ,

    Best Regards
