I am creating this .NET meetup group because I am passionate about software development especially with Microsoft technologies and because I wanted to attract other people like myself that is local to West Palm Beach. I find that most of the .NET development community resides south of this area in Boca, Fort Lauterdale, and Miramar. While anyone is welcome to join this group, it will be more effective and interesting if developers with 3 - 5 years experience in Windows Forms, ASP .NET, and ADO .NET will join. I especially welcome developers that have worked with or interested in newer .NET 3.5+ technologies such as WPF, Silverlight, XAML, WCF, WWF, ADO .NET Entity Framework, LINQ, ASP .NET MVC, and ASP .NET AJAX. I also welcome integration specialists that work with SQL Server, Commerce Server, BizTalk Server, DotNetNuke, Sharepoint Server. Lastly, I welcome network specialists that know Windows Server, Virtual Server, Virtual PC, VMWare, and willing to show programmers what they need to know about networking to be more effective programmers.
