  • Kanban Explained

    Wed, 9 Mar 2011, 00:00 - 02:00 in New York, United States

I've been using Kanban as a management tool to establish flow and faster delivery cycles with Scrum/XP teams. I'm giving the talk to the local Scrum-masters meetup this month and would be happy to give a more Lean/Kanban oriented version to this group (I'm an XP programmer from the early days)

  • Executable Specifications with Cucumber and Watir

28 Feb-1 Mar 2011 in New York, United States

If you've ever run into maintenance issues with testing through the GUI, I have a presentation that I'll offer up to this group. In the past 2 years, I've moved from using Selenium to using Cucumber with Watir as a tool to help developers, testers and customers collaborate on requirements and acceptance testing. During this time, we've learned a few tricks and do's and don'ts of automating acceptance tests through the GUI.

  • Agile - Hands-On Direction

24-25 Aug 2009 in New York, United States

Now that we've had a couple of workshops on Agile practices, we'll be discussing how to organize to systematically create opportunities to gain a hands-on experience with Agile. More details coming soon.
