This includes a number of Windows server books and is a good reference as all the "For Dummies" titles are. These people have a great formula and excellent editing I have never been disappointed in any of their books.

Make sure there is a revision for Server 2008 R2 though with all the changes Microsoft has made it is prudent.

I buy dummies books because they are a quick read and can have you on the ground quick. This one did not work out. I will not be buying and more multi-volume dummies books. They are self referencing to a point of madness. to complete one section you must refer to multiple previous or future volume chapters for topics. This was done to condense the books size however the information called out is often weak. It will provide you the google key words but not to much more.

I am a web developer who wanted to build a development server, this book was little help.
