Abstract:
Everyday developers use the Java language to write applications, ranging from tiny applets to huge server-side applications. Through its wealth of application development resources, the Java platform makes an excellent development environment. However, many find that it lacks a central orchestrator, or method, for easily corralling this vast body of disparate resources into cohesive, well structured applications. That is where the Spring Framework comes into play. Spring is a Java framework that provides comprehensive support for developing applications on the JVM, including all of the “glue” that is required to wire together the various parts of your application. Through its comprehensive set of API's (i.e. application context, bean management, AOP, data, messaging, Web MVC and more), Spring provides the efficiencies to reduce the complexity and increase the maintainability of your Java applications.
Are you interested in joining the millions of Java developers who use the Spring Framework? Then attend this presentation; it offers an introduction to the concepts of the Spring Framework, instructions on how to quickly get started writing code and a demonstration of some common ways to benefit from using Spring in your applications.
