In this meeting, you will learn how to write Silverlight applications for the Windows Phone. We will work with features only available in the Windows Phone SDK to work with a phone's built in applications, such as the phone dialer, email, text messaging and camera. We will learn how to extend the Pictures and Music + Videos Hubs. We will wrap up with an introduction the Panorama and Pivot controls - two new Silverlight controls exclusive to the Windows Phone.

Tim Binkley-Jones is a co-author of Windows Phone 7 in Action.
