This month we've moved back to the Dublin room at Ceilis, where we'll have Michelle Castillo as our guest speaker who will introduce us to one of the hottest web publishing tools today, WordPress. WordPress is affordable, allows you to easily achieve a professional look and feel, is SEO friendly, and most importantly, once your site is ready you are in control and able to update the content yourself.
Michelle will walk us through the complete process of creating a Wordpress website from scratch. She will show us how to set up a domain, install WordPress, pick up a great looking theme, add content, pictures and videos, and add plugins.
Michelle is an Online Business Implementation Expert, has a deep knowledge of the technologies that best meet the needs of today’s small business websites and has gained a reputation as a WordPress expert coaching people who want to be in charge of their web presence. She runs hands-on workshops where she teaches business owners how to build their own professional looking websites on the Wordpress platform.
Remember that this is also a networking event so please arrive at 6:30pm ready to meet new people and mingle! Bring business cards because important relationships and new business ventures come out of meeting like minded people!
