Main Presentation: A New Tool for Converting Flash FLA Files into HTML and Reach More Devices
WebVid Manager, Mike McGready, will let you in on Adobe's latest HTML5 experiment. "Wallaby" is the codename for an experimental technology that converts the artwork and animation contained in Adobe® Flash® Professional (FLA) files into HTML. This allows you to reuse and extend the reach of your content to devices that do not support the Flash runtimes. Once these files are converted to HTML, you can edit them with an HTML editing tool, such as Adobe Dreamweaver®, or by hand if desired. You can view the output in one of the supported browsers or on an iOS device.

Bonus Presentation on Dreamweaver CS5.5 – Released this Week!
Mike McGready will share Adobe's What's New in Dreamweaver CS5.5!!!

Hot Tech
Each month we will take a few minutes to discuss recent technical breakthroughs and announcements related to web and mobile device video.

The focus of the Web – Video Crossroads (Adobe User Group) is to inspire and instruct our members to take advantage of opportunities involving Web and mobile-device video and the underlying technology. Under the leadership of Mike McGready, Owner and Creative Director of Album of Life video studios, this group will follow technical developments and business trends while supporting and inspiring one another. Web developers/designers or video/audio producers will find our topics invaluable and stimulating.

The Web Video Crossroads meets on the second Thursday of every month. and the fee for Orange County MultiMedia Association non-members is $10, or $5 for students (NOCCCD SCE students are admitted free).

Come early (6:30PM) to enjoy snacks, networking, and your favorite "viral" videos.
