WordCamp Seattle 2011 is happening on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the University of Washington. WordCamp Seattle is a one-day conference about WordPress – the world’s most popular content management system, blogging platform, and website creation tool.
The event will be keynoted by best-selling author and speaker Scott Berkun who currently works for Automattic (the creators of WordPress) as Team Social lead. Andrew Nacin will be speaking about a facet of WordPress development. Alex King will be interviewed about how he built a successful business around WordPress. Topics include an overview of WordPress, using WordPress, theme creation, plugin development, using WordPress to run your business, blogging, marketing, and SEO.
Regular tickets are $30, and student tickets are available now for $25.
Please note that the ticket also includes a catered lunch and we will be providing beverages and snacks as well.
