FlashBrighton: Projects Night VII

Date
Tue, 14 Apr 2009, 19:00 (Add to calendar) GMT
Venue
The Skiff , Brighton, GB

Comrades, the time is come when we must break down the barriers that hold us back and reclaim power for ourselves. Respect for authority is merely an opium for the people, our emancipation will only come when we, the Flash workers, finally gain control of the means of production. We must rise up now and that is why we here at FlashBrighton have brought out a powerful weapon to strike back at the bourgeoisie in the form of Projects Night VII: an assembly for the Flash proletariat to mass and exchange subversive tactics and ideas.

Apart we are defenseless, together we have power. Projects Night VII will unite us by the sharing of knowledge. Card-carrying Geeks are encouraged to turn up on the night, take the podium for five minutes at a time, and show the rest of the assembled members their radical approach to problem-solving. THE CHAIRMAN ENVISAGES THAT THESE TIPS AND TRICKS WILL RELATE TO FLASH DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT although he is a radical leftist and therefore open to coersive suggestion. Should you wish to share your tips about Linux, sketching or even how to make the perfect Communist tea, that too will be permitted, to the extent that it doesn't interfere with item #1 on the agenda: SHARING YOUR RADICAL FLASH TIPS WITH OTHER FLASHERS.

PROJECTS NIGHT VII IS NOT ABOUT BOURGEOISIE SUPERSTARS DICTATING THEIR USUAL CAPITALIST DOCTRINE. IT WILL PUT YOU, THE PROLETARIAT, FIRMLY IN CONTROL.

Comrades, open your laptops, practice your five minute speeches and sound the revolution bell: next Tuesday evening at 7pm the Flash proles will storm the barricades. Sign up for party membership here now!

FORWARD THE REVOLUTION!

ATTENTION COMRADES
Next week's venue will be The Skiff at 49 Cheltenham Place in the North Laine instead of The Werks as our brothers-in-arms, Danny Hope's "People's Popular Front of UX" are meeting at the Werks. REPEAT: WE WILL BE AT THE SKIFF NEXT TUESDAY! That will be all.
