Seam is a powerful open source development platform for building rich Internet applications in Java. Seam integrates technologies such as Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), JavaServer Faces (JSF), Java Persistence (JPA), Enterprise Java Beans (EJB 3.0) and Business Process Management (BPM) into a unified full-stack solution, complete with sophisticated tooling.
Sachin Patil has been kind enough to agree to conduct a session on the Seam framework. He is working with IMC (www.imc.com) and involved in building envista (www.envista.com), dynamic map-based coordination solution to enable innovation and proactive management of the public right-of-way to reduce project delivery time, save money, enhance the safety of roads, while minimizing environmental impact. This product is built up using Jboss Seam, JPA, EJB3.
