Join us Tuesday, April 24, at 6:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room (MPR) of the Charlotte Microsoft Campus. This month, Marty Elvidge will be explaining one of the HTML5 features which allow the storage of data on the client side. His presentation will demonstrate how to build sometimes connected applications using the HTML5 features of application cache and local storage. It will also touch on implementing light, restful services using JSON and a sneak peek at Big Data storage.

The meeting presenter is Marty Elvidge.

Marty is a seasoned practitioner who has been architecting software solutions for more than 20 years utilizing a variety of Microsoft technologies, as well as a vast experience outside of the .NET world, including JAVA, C++, and embedded systems. This allowed Marty to develop the skills to see past the specific technology and architect the correct solution for the application.

Marty's responsibilities at Logical Advantage include the architecture, or architectural review, of each project we implement. As Chief Solutions Officer, he ensures that each solution's architecture meets our high standards as well as the current industry standards. Marty's role is to also review the latest trends in software, hardware, and development solutions to ensure that Logical Advantage is staying ahead of technology.
