Chris McLean (@chriswmclean) presents "Recursive CTE's for Fun & Profit!" Common Table Expressions (CTE's) allow for in-memory recursive operations in T-SQL. The ability to do recursion in the set-based T-SQL language opens up many opportunities for solving problems that are difficult to do otherwise and allow for a simple syntax that all database developers and DBA's can understand. Chris McLean runs Code Ninja, Inc., a training and consulting company here in Tulsa focused on the Microsoft software stack. Chris is an MCT and loves Legos.
