Hey clear-cachers!

It's that time again! Next week is the week of our September SF Symfony Meetup. It's Open Mic Night on September 3rd at 6:30pm at Dogster HQ. This is your chance to run the show.

Here's how it works. I'll be taking sign-ups here and at the door. I'll put you in line. You'll each get 15 minutes (or so) for presentation/discussion/hacking/etc. The rest of us will listen, drink beer, ask questions, drink more beer, give feedback and eat pizza. Cool?

If you'd like to sign up early, leave a message on the Message Board here.

Here's some ideas to get you thinking (stolen from this Meetup's homepage):
• How to get started with Symfony
  • What's new for Symfony 1.3? 2.0?
  • How to build your first Symfony plugin
  • How to manage multiple websites and applications with one Symfony install
  • Deploying your new Symfony project
  • How to use the new Symfony Components outside of Symfony
  • Testing your Symfony code
  • Building your API in Symfony
  • Symfony -- title case Symfony or lower case symfony?
  •
If we don't get enough people you'll have to listen to me babble on about whatever B.S. code I came up with that week. You don't want that, so sign up!

    See ya there!

P.S. We have an open WiFi network now, so feel free to bring your laptops and saturate our T1 with your bittorrent servers.
