I'm excited to announce IndyFlash has a meeting location for December. Sam and Quinn from Touch A Soul were gracious enough to volunteer their office in Broad Ripple. There is plenty of parking, lots of chairs and the Broad Ripple Brewpub is conveniently right across the street.
This is the first solo meeting with me as the manager, so we'll begin with introductions and questions/suggestions about IndyFlash. Ideally each month a different speaker will discuss a Flash related topic educating the group. Since we don't have a guest speaker for this meeting I'll be going over some Flash basics with a focus on the tools panel.
If that wasn't convincing enough I'll be giving away various Adobe items, including software. Not good enough? How about getting to know others who enjoy Flash while getting drinks at Broad Ripple Brewpub? Don't underestimate the advantages of networking.
The introductions will begin at 6:30pm and the presentation around 7:00pm. The floor will open around 8pm for discussion and announcements, and the Brewpub will be waiting for us around 8:30pm.
