For our January 26th meetup we are going to take a break from the GolfCaddy application we've been building and turn our attention to Danny Roa, who generously offered to give us a behind the scenes look of his San Francisco Muni Plus application, selling for $1.99 on Android Market.

Here are some of the questions I asked Danny to address while showing us his app:
• How and why did you get involved with the Android platform?
• What motivated you to build a Muni app?
• How did you get started? Did you get help from anyone else? Did you base your app on any existing apps out there?
• What was your thought process with respect to the design of the UI? What about the app architecture?
• What were some of the technical problems you ran into when building your app? How did you overcome them?
• How did you go about publishing and promoting your app?
• Did you enter your app in any contents (e.g. ADC) and how did you do?
• What kind of a user feedback have you been getting? Is it useful? How do you interact with your users?
• How do you plan to monetize your app/Android expertise?
• etc.
•
