December Book Exchange
Have you read an amazing book that all of us should know about but don't? Well, grab an extra copy and come out to our December meeting - we're doing a book exchange! The idea is simple: pick up an extra copy of that great book that's not so well known (no Agile Web Development with Rails, please), come out to the meeting, and we'll have a rousing "white elephant style" meme-swap.
While we'd like to stick to non-fiction that has some relevancy to a technical crowd, don't shy from the esoteric: "Why Zebra's Don't get Ulcers" is just as welcome as "The Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs". And you will need to have read the book, since one of your jobs will be to sell us all on how great it is!
So, here's what you need to do:
- Get an extra copy of a book you're passionate about.
- Wrap it up.
- Bring it with you to Red Hat on December 15th.
Everyone who brings a book is guaranteed to walk away with (a different) one, and we might just have some tasty treats and door prizes as well.
Don't miss it!
