Burzin Patel is a Solutions Architect at StorSimple. He is currently leading an effort to build a dedicated storage appliance for SharePoint that simplifies the sizing, deployment, configuration and maintenance of SharePoint storage by providing functionality like auto configuration, BLOB externalization and selective cloud storage. Prior to working at StorSimple, Burzin was a part of the SQL Server Customer Advisory Team (SQLCAT) at Microsoft and had worked with some of the largest SharePoint customer deployments. Burzin has over 17 years of industry experience and is the author of the "SQL Server 2005 Administrator's Companion" book (MS Press) as well as numerous technical articles.
