Are you interested in building business applications in Silverlight 4? With Silverlight 4 the gap between Silverlight and WPF is quickly narrowing. If you want to build applications that can support all major browsers, then look no further. We will look at the overall architecture of building business applications with Silverlight and Prism. We will also look into using code generation in the Silverlight application help you fast-track other business applications. This approach will allow us to design business screens quickly and browse them all in the same application. We will look at WCF RIA Services for providing our data access. We will showcase Out of Browser, local file access, code generation, and much more. We will also look at some architectural patterns for supporting building your applications in a modular fashion. Our speaker is Matthew Duffield, Owner & Solutions Architect at Inlogitech. He currently provides consulting on the following .NET technologies including: Silverlight, WPF, ASP.NET, Compact Framework, WCF, Reporting, Data Mining, and Data Warehousing.
